Jesus Is God With Us

Jesus Is God With Us

The early church mothers and fathers had the great wisdom to set aside the four weeks leading up to Christmas as a time to prepare for the birth of Jesus Christ. The birth of Jesus was a historical event that took place in a particular time and place, and yet every Christmas has the potential for Jesus to be born anew, in our lives and in the world. Join us for worship at First UMC El Dorado from December 3 to Christmas Eve as we explore what it means for Christ to be sent by God into our lives and how we might be sent into the world as the hands and feet of Christ, not just in this season, but all year long.
