Children’s Ministry Happenings for Week Ending November 19, 2017

Here’s what we have going on. Let me know if you have questions! Also, don’t forget the children’s singing performance on December 10.

Tribe 1 (4th-6th)

We are continuing our unit on “kids just wanna have fun” this Wednesday by talking about music and the influence it has on our lives. For Serve time, we will be working on the Christmas stockings for the kids staying at the Safe House.
We continue to have “hangout time” on Sunday mornings from 10-10:30, with music practice (including ukuleles!) at 10:30. We are currently working on our Christmas music.

Tribe 2 (K-3rd)

Our younger Tribe is finishing the meal for the cold weather shelter this Wednesday, which will be delivered that same evening. We are quite the chefs!
On Sunday mornings, we are continuing our study of Solomon…up this week: the Temple! We are also practicing for our Christmas program with Chelle during Worship time at 11, so please make it every week you can so we can be ready to perform.

Nursery

Our nursery kids continue to learn about Solomon becoming king, and what it takes to be a good leader. We are also starting to work on our music for the Christmas performance, and regular attendance is helpful so please come as often as possible! Repetition is key, especially for our youngest friends.

Thank you for partnering with us to raise your kids in faith! It is a privilege to work with you and your children.

Blessings,

Valecia Scribner
