Children’s Ministry Happenings for Week Ending November 12, 2017

Here’s what we have going on these next few weeks.

Tribe 1 (4th-6th)

A BIG thank you to Lacey Vogts and her family for hosting our Tribe 1 pool party. It was so much fun!
For Wednesday night small group time, we are starting a new unit called Kids Just Wanna Have Fun. For serve time, we will be making stockings for children at the Safe House for Christmas. Thank you Sue Meyers for working with the kids on this!

On Sundays, we are continuing to practice for the Christmas program, which will be on December 10 (Please mark your calendars now!). This includes ukulele music; if you are intending to purchase an instrument for your child, please pay the church $25 (Chelle is paying for the other half; thanks Chelle!). They can participate without purchasing an instrument, so just let me know.

Tribe 2 (K-3rd)

For Wednesday night serve time, we will be preparing food for the homeless shelter these next few weeks, and will be making a few extra mini pumpkin pies for the Blessing Box.

We are also working on music for the Christmas program on December 10 during our FirstKids Worship time at 11 a.m. Please try to be as regular in attendance as possible so that we’re well prepared! Our lessons this month center around King Solomon and his wisdom, and includes some learning about the Proverbs.

Nursery

Our nursery kids are also learning about King Solomon, and will be learning a song for the Christmas program during Worship time at 11 a.m. We are in the process of hiring new staff for the nursery as well.

Thanks!

Blessings,
