Make plans to attend our Candlelight Christmas Eve service at 7; this is one of the most meaningful services in the Christian year, and you won’t want to miss it! Also a reminder that we are having one service in the morning at 10 a.m. Here are other upcoming events:
Tribe 1 (4th – 6th grade):
We are taking a break from our Wednesday activities until January 17. We are changing curriculums after the start of the year for small group time and will be writing our own stuff! The kids and leaders are excited for this change. FirstKids Serve will resume on the same day.
We are also planning an outing for Friday, December 29 at Aviate Trampoline Park in Wichita followed by lunch. We will leave the church at 10, will jump from about 10:30-11:30, and will plan to return to the church around 1. Please let Valecia know if you can come by e-mailing valecia.scribner@firstumceldorado.org. If you can contribute $10 to the cost of the trip, that would be appreciated. But, no worries if it doesn’t fit into your family’s budget!
Tribe 2 (K – 3rd):
We are taking a break with FirstKids Serve until January 17.
On Sunday mornings, we WILL have FirstKids Worship on the 24th at 10 a.m., but no Sunday School. We will also not have Sunday School on December 31, and will have Family Worship Sunday (No Children’s Church) on December 31. Our regular Sunday morning schedule will resume on January 7.
Nursery:
Our nursery will be open on Sundays per our regular schedule. Childcare on Thursday nights will resume on January 11.
