We hope to partner with parents to help raise lifelong followers of Jesus, and now everyone in the church has the opportunity to be a part of that plan! Whether or not you have children, you are an important part of the work God is doing in the lives of the kids at our church, in our community, and around the world. Research has consistently shown that one of the best predictors for kids continuing to grow in their faith after high school is knowing that adults in their church care about them. Being in prayer for kids and youth is one way of expressing that care. We encourage you to pray for children and youth, at least once a week. In addition, you may be asked to pray for individual children and youth specifically. This is what we are asking of our prayer partners:
- Pray for your partner every week.
- Connect with your partner and develop a relationship with them.
- You might say hi, ask about any activities they have going on, etc.
- Attend quarterly events with your prayer partner with a brunch potluck at 10 a.m.:

We are inviting the parents / guardians of children and youth connected with our congregation to identify three prayer partners for each of their children. Parents are encouraged to post a My 3 Card with the names of prayer partners in a place where the child will frequently see it as a reminder of your care. If asked, take time to build meaningful relationships with the child, youth, and family.
