This sermon is about the Bible and some of the basics of what it is and is not.

Why is this sermon important?

This sermon is important because it addresses some of misconceptions about the Bible and gives an overview of the story found in the book which is the essential guide to our Christian faith.

What is the context of this sermon?

This is the first sermon in our back to school kickoff series for 2014. It is Promotion Sunday, which means that children will move to their new classrooms in Sunday School and third graders will receive a Bible.
