Your giving is an act of worship and makes it possible for us to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world and be part of God’s work changing lives, developing leaders and sharing Christ. In addition to offerings given through the offering plate, there are three ways to give:
Electronic Funds Transfer
With Electronic Funds Transfer, you can reinforce your commitment to give your tighter and offerings to God first, before else. One easy step each year guarantees that the church will receive your gifts on a regular basis, even if you are out of town or forget one week. To establish an electronic funds transfer, you will need to complete a commitment card authorizing the EFT and attach voided check for the account you will use.
First United methodist Church offers a convenient, secure, online system for debit and credit card contributions. For recurring contributions, your card will be charged on the frequency you select. Click here to give online.
Cash or Check
Please make sure you include your name and address on the cash envelope or your check so we can provide you a record for tax purposes. Your gifts can be placed in the weekly worship offering plate (envelopes are provided in the pew backs) or they may be mailed to 421 W Central Avenue; El Dorado, KS 67042
Stocks and other securities are a welcome gift. Many members have found the tax savings make this an ideal way to fulfill their commitment. For more information, contact our Financial Secretary, Sandy Cooper at 316-321-6220.
